Since I was a young-in’, I’ve loved pen -to -paper writing. Journals, to-do lists, grocery lists, brainstorming, business ideas…you name it, I’ve written it down.
One of the highlights of my fall season, is selecting a new planner and writing down my goals and upcoming adventures to look forward to in the new year. I love the idea of a fresh start. It doesn’t have to be on January 1st and goals change throughout the year, but it’s helpful to have a starting point. Planners are versatile and the market is quite diverse. There are mid year planners, undated planners, or you can get as detailed as a fully custom one.
My preferred planner is dated (I am not filling in the dates for the whole year), portable, and very little fluff. I use mine for important dates and goals.
In honor of “National Planner Day” (yesterday, missed it by a day…whoops) I present to you:

PLANNERS
#1 Papier Yearly Planner

https://www.papier.com/us/stationery/calendar-year-planners
Papier is my all time favorite stationary brand with a minimal approach to a productive year. There are TONS of gorgeous designs to choose from.

Each month begins with a page dedicated to realigning your mindset with goals, new habits, and a wee bit of reflection. To the point, no fluff. But CUTE. Another design aspect is the thickness of the pages. Good quality and easy to use.
#2 My current Pocket Planner by: BLOOM

I found this company scrolling Amazon one day. I wanted a planner that would fit in my purse so I could pull my schedule out at the drop of a hat. I know, how embarrassing of me to even want that. Alas, it works for me, I find joy in it, so leave me alone about it.
This planner is tiny, has just enought space to write what’s important and even leaves a few pages to write your goals and whatever else comes to mind. The layout of this BLOOM planner comes in various sizes and designs. Complete with a spiral binding and monthly tabs, this one is the perfect companion for a type A planner who refuses to use Google Calendar.
I will link this one below using my fun little affiliate link from Amazon… cause everyone is doing it, right?
I hope this brightens your type A, old school, pen-to- paper heart as much as it does mine.
Sincerely,
Brooklynn
